Villa Bali Asri Batubelig offers its guests the opportunity to reside in Bali in a setting dedicated to art and to take advantage of exceptional works exhibited in its “gallery-villas “. Thanks to close collaboration with Georges Bréguet, anthropologist, expert in art and textiles, a curator of the Pasifika Museum in Nusa Dua, this aspiration has become a reality.
Tribal and primitive arts from countless islands of the indonesia archipelago have not been overlooked, and the villas are graced with artifacts from Sulawesi, Borneo, Sumatra, Java, Iran Jaya, thanks to the cooperation of Aimery Joëssel and the Nusantara Gallery, Ubud.
Young French artists such as François Dinguirard, painter – Rio Helmi, Teo and Marie-Eve Morabito and Jean Yves Lamboley, photographers all, have also signed on with Villa Bali Asri Batubelig, while Serge Poliakoff, Man Ray and Topor are present through their lithographs or original posters.
